Suncorp Expands Software, Service Deal With Diebold To Achieve Next Phase Of Multi-Channel Strategy
23 February 2015BRISBANE, Australia – Suncorp Bank has once again partnered with Diebold, Incorporated (NYSE: DBD) to enhance its self-service channel, this time, with deposit automation capabilities that will aid Suncorp Bank in migrating transactions from the traditional teller line to the self-service channel. The agreement includes 40 Diebold ATMs with cash recycling and check imaging capabilities. These technologies will assist Suncorp Bank in realizing the next phase of its multi-channel strategy and enable consumers to experience the flexibility and convenience of banking 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Suncorp Bank plans to upgrade these units with a coin deposit side-car that will further enable the bank’s small and medium business clients to have access to an unmatched combination of self-service functionality.

Suncorp Bank migrated its entire fleet of more than 700 ATMs to Diebold multi-vendor software and managed services in 2012 benefiting from an improved customer experience while staying current with Europay, MasterCard®, Visa® (EMV®) and Payment Card Industry (PCI) requirements.
