Hume Building Society Limited Deploys Diebold’s OpteView® Resolve™ Availability Management Solution

Agreement includes nearly 30 new Opteva® ATMs equipped with Agilis® 3 software

SYDNEY, Australia–In an effort to improve remote resolution capabilities, lower costs, increase security and enhance the consumer experience,Hume Building Society Limited recently signed an integrated services agreement with Diebold, Incorporated to deploy OpteView®Resolveacross its fleet of automated teller machines (ATMs). As part of the agreement, Diebold will also install nearly 30 new Opteva® ATMs and migrate to Agilis® 3 software across the financial institution’s entire fleet. In addition, more than 10 existing Opteva ATMs will be upgraded with Europay, MasterCard, Visa (EMV)-compliant card readers to help increase security at the ATM. These upgrades will provide Hume customers more consistent access to Hume ATMs. 

Based in Albury, Australia, Hume Building Society has 18 branch outlets, 42 ATMs and meets the needs of more than 55,000 members. By implementing the OpteView Resolve availability management solution, Hume Building Society will have end-to-end management of its entire network availability cycle. The advanced technology strengthens the entire break/fix process from status notification to problem resolution, reducing operating costs and enhancing network performance. Hume Building Society is the first Diebold customer in Australia to utilize OpteView Resolve.

Hume Building Society’s Opteva ATMs will feature Agilis 3, Diebold’s latest generation, global software platform, which enables ATMs to operate at their full potential. Agilis software provides seamless integration of solutions and services in both multi-channel and multi-vendor environments, helping financial institutions improve customer relationships, streamline operation and enhance security.
