Diebold to Share Branch Transformation Insights at European ATMs 2014
02 June 2014
LONDON – From analysis to implementation, retail banking branch transformations follow strategic, customized plans to enhance consumer experiences and improve operational efficiencies. While each transformation is unique, financial institutions can learn a lot from other institutions undergoing their own transformations. Diebold, Incorporated (NYSE: DBD) will share some of the lessons learned working with a major Italy-based bank at the European ATMs 2014 conference, June 3-4 in London. The joint presentation will reveal how strategic implementations of automated branch equipment, in-branch self-service solutions and cash recycling technology have optimized cash management and increased customer satisfaction for the bank.
In a session titled “Branch Transformation and Cash Optimization,” Joerg Engelhardt, Diebold vice president, product management and marketing, will review a real-life branch transformation case study. Working with Diebold, the bank successfully implemented a variety of automated branch and cash management solutions to transform the bank’s branches, streamline operations and enhance customer service.
“European ATMs 2014 gives us a unique opportunity to share a successful branch transformation story,” said Bassem Bouzid, senior vice president and managing director, Diebold Europe, Middle East and Africa. “But the presentation is about much more than communicating results. It’s about sharing the lessons and best practices both parties have learned, so we can help other institutions tip the scales in favor of success for their own transformations.”
Further educating attendees, Diebold will share several of its latest ATM technology solutions in the conference’s exhibition area. The company’s booth (#36) will feature a range of branch transformation solutions, including Diebold’s new Opteva® In-Lobby Teller (ILT) terminal, its deposit automation-enabled and recycling-ready Opteva 828 ATM and other complementary products and services such as Concierge Video Services™.
Jointly organized by ATMIA Europe, the only European automated teller machine (ATM) industry association, and RBR, the industry’s leading research and consulting firm, European ATMs 2014 is the region’s premier ATM conference. Diebold is a global sponsor of the conference.
