Diebold Names Michael Campbell To Lead Electronic Security Sales Operations And Development
20 February 2014NORTH CANTON, Ohio – Diebold, Incorporated (NYSE: DBD) today announced that Michael Campbell has been appointed vice president sales operations and development for its Electronic Security team.
Campbell will be responsible for the development and standardization of Diebold’s Electronic Security sales operations globally with an initial focus on North America, as Diebold establishes its Electronic Security Sales Center of Excellence. He brings nearly 20 years of experience in electronic security sales leadership and training.
“As we continue to expand Diebold’s Electronic Security business, it is essential we create a sales model that can be leveraged universally for organic growth best practices across the globe,” said Tony Byerly, Diebold executive vice president, electronic security. “Michael’s sales leadership and training experience will ensure we are improving our existing sales team’s productivity, and driving ‘best-in-class’ new hire development plans.”
Campbell joins Diebold from Stanley Convergent Security Solutions, a division of Stanley Black & Decker, where he led the company’s sales operations and served in various other sales leadership positions during his tenure. Prior to Stanley, Campbell was a sales leader at ADT/Tyco International. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from DePaul University, Chicago, and will operate out of Diebold’s Schaumburg, Illinois office.
