Senior Vice President, Retail

Thomas Fell currently serves the as senior vice president, retail. In this role, he is responsible for leading all aspects of the organization’s retail business including the global service station business.

Most recently, Fell served as a member of the executive board for Wincor Nixdorf AG, beginning in November 2010. In this role, he was responsible for the company's worldwide IT business with retail companies. During his time in that position, he contributed significantly to the business expansion and internationalization of the retail segment at Wincor Nixdorf. Under his direction, the retail division experienced significant growth, making Wincor Nixdorf the leading supplier of programmable electronic point-of-sale (EPOS) systems in Europe and number three in the world. In addition, he paved the way for the seamless integration of the retail segment into the newly combined Diebold Nixdorf organization.

Fell has many years of experience in the IT and sales sectors, having focused on the development of future-oriented sales strategies and their implementation in a dynamically changing retail environment. He began his career in 1993 at IBM in Germany, where he led the retail, services, transportation and tourism divisions. Later, he was in charge of business with medium-sized companies and corporate customer support in his capacity as managing director. Prior to joining Wincor Nixdorf, Fell worked for Pironet NDH AG in Cologne, where he directed the sales activities of the software solutions and retail business areas as a member of the board of directors.

Fell completed his degree in business administration at the University of Mannheim in Mannheim, Germany. In addition, he earned a master’s degree in business administration from Henley Management College in Great Britain. Fell serves as an advisor for the renowned "Forum für Verantwortung" foundation, which has dedicated itself to promoting education, science and research. Additionally, he serves on the advisory board for the School of Business Informatics and Mathematics at the University of Mannheim.

Fell currently resides near Frankfurt am Main, Germany, together with his wife and three children.
