Eckard Heidloff currently serves as the president of the combined Diebold Nixdorf organization. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing the global operations for the systems line of business, including supply chain, product development and management, engineering, procurement and manufacturing. He is also responsible for overseeing the operations and growth in a number of regions.
Heidloff’s tenure with Wincor Nixdorf and its predecessor companies span more than thirty years. Most recently, Heidloff served as the president and chief executive officer for Wincor Nixdorf AG, beginning in January 2007 where he was responsible for worldwide operations.
Prior to that in 2004, and following Wincor Nixdorf becoming the first large German private equity company to be floated on the Frankfurt stock exchange, Heidloff was appointed chief financial officer and chief operating officer. He was responsible for spearheading the company’s expansion by bringing together investors and management to shape the company’s businesses.
Since joining Nixdorf Computer AG in 1983, he has held a series of leadership positions in both the retail and financial self-service businesses that have played a key role in shaping the company’s success over the years.
Heidloff has a Diplom Kaufmann in business administration from the University of Paderborn. He currently resides in Paderborn, Germany.
